Snappy Maids was founded in 2006 by Laura after she and her family relocated from Chicago to Austin. In Chicago, Laura had previously owned a small cleaning business called Pro Klean, though it was not her primary focus at the time. After moving to Austin and welcoming their youngest daughter, Laura felt ready to return to work—and with her lifelong passion for maintaining a spotless home, she decided to build something of her own. What began as one woman with a strong work ethic and an eye for detail quickly became the foundation of Snappy Maids.

From the start, Snappy Maids stood out for its attention to detail, punctuality, and professionalism. Laura personally selects and trains every cleaner, ensuring each team member understands not only how to clean thoroughly, but how to respect each home and learn every client’s unique needs and preferences. That commitment to quality is still the heart of our company today.

What began with a single crew has grown to as many as eight team members during peak seasons. While our primary focus has always been residential cleaning, we also bring experience in commercial services. Through every stage of growth, our promise has remained the same: we deliver the best cleaning—without shortcuts. One of our proudest milestones is still cleaning for our very first customer after all these years. Her sons were kids when we started, and today we are honored to also clean their homes as adults.
